Champions Yacht Club is hosting multiple national Sailing events in the next year ahead.
The Juniour India National Championship will be held from Saturday until Wednesday. The entry fee is Rs 15000.
Thirty two people have entered the race, including six Goa contestants sailors from across the country are competing.
Sailors will have check-in and boat measurement from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. A practice race is 2 p.m. Sunday. The first race is 11 a.m. Monday.
A maximum 11 races will be held, with no more than four a day. The awards ceremony will be held at 6 p.m., following the final race. Prizes will be awarded to the top five finishers overall.
The CYC will also host the US Sailing Championship of Champions from Apr. 8 to Apr. 16.
"These two events will bring in some of the very best sailors in the country," CYC Race organizer Nash said.
